Featured Project: U.S. Foods Newsletter

 


Project Goals:

U. S. Foods, a food distributor, needed a fresh way to communicate current pricing and specials to their customers.

Project Challenges:
Emphasize the client's topnotch service and customer support to build loyalty beyond pricing.

Project Results:
Tandem Design developed a bimonthly campaign for U.S. Foods that replaced their traditional price list with a newsletter. With a newsletter format, U.S. Foods was able to more effectively communicate with their customers. For example, a special section dedicated to issues of specific interest to the restaurateur customer was created. In it cooking tips, ways to motivate staff and new recipes using U.S. Foods' products and coupons were included. Additionally, product listings were reorganized to make the publication more user-friendly. We also produced the newsletter in a unique size that added impact and instant recognition without adding additional costs.
